Fresh from Easter is our little spring chicken Robyn from Stockport, Cheshire! We caught up with the blonde bombshell and got a glimpse at what makes her tick!
Hi Robyn! Thanks for being April’s Skip Chick. What do you do?
I’m at uni doing photography and fashion and part time admin assistant at a surveying company.
So how did you find out about Skip Hire Magazine?
A couple of clients brought the magazine in to our work and we all read it and thought that the Skip Chick and Skip Hunk pages were hilarious. I was then nominated by my colleagues – so I’m not strictly a Skip Chick – sorry. But, I did a photography project about the waste and discarded things, and I took a lot of pictures of people’s skips!
So what’s the weirdest thing you’ve found in a skip?
A very life-like porcelain doll with one eye – it was VERY creepy!
Aargh! So what do you do in your spare time?
I play basketball, I’m on a team called the Stockport Lapwings – plus, I also write a fashion blog.
Oooh, fashion. Go one what’s your style?
I wear a wide assortment – bobble hats, trainers, pretty dresses, t-shirts, anything and everything!
How would you makeover the skip hire industry?
I would decorate the skips! They should be things of beauty! I’d also get tid of his viz vests, and give everyone fitted neon waistcoats with pocket watches. And hardhats should have earflaps to keep people warm.
There’s some quality ideas there Robyn! What did you think of George Osborne’s budget?
All I know is that beer is a penny cheaper – so that keeps my Dad happy!
Who is your ideal skip hunk?
It would have to be Fernando Torres. I love Spanish men – they are the ‘Juan’!!! LOL!
What’s your favourite food?
I love Lindt chocolate and my nan’s hotpot!
What’s your favourite film?
Coach Carter – it’s a classic basketball film, and it’s got Channing Tatum in and he is dreamy!
Tell us a joke…
How do you send a letter to the Easter Bunny?
By haremail!
Be-dum tish!

Nice one Kylie, I’ll expect a dozen blueberry muffins sent to Skip Hire Magazine by next week then! Good luck with your pregnancy, and make sure your colleague Dave Roberts takes on extra work to help you out!
